The Brook Trout Cabin offers a cozy retreat for up to six guests. This charming cabin features two bedrooms, one with a full-sized bed and the other with two sets of bunk beds, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone. The cabin is equipped with essentials, general heating for those chilly nights, and a kitchen stove for home-cooked meals. Enjoy your evenings in the dining area or outside at the charcoal BBQ and picnic area, making memories under the stars.
The cabin is centrally located in the Flattops Wilderness with an abundance of things to do. Grab your camera and go find a herd of local elk in the area, as there are plenty to be seen. Moose, deer and bear also frequent the area.
Miles of hiking trails leading to backcountry lakes are also accessible. Book one of our horseback rides or fly fishing trips on the White River to fully complete your Colorado experience!
Is there cell phone reception? Internet? Wi-fi?
Yes. We do have Wifi. Typically there is cell phone reception at the cabins as well.
Who does the cleaning of the cabins upon departure?
We’ll do the cleaning. We just ask that you tidy up and leave the cabin as it was when you arrived. We do a full clean of the cabin in between guests.
Are the cabins pet friendly?
Yes. We do welcome dogs! We just ask that you please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets in the yard areas and limit the barking if there are guests nearby.
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes. The water is safe to drink if you wish. We do recommend you bring bottled water as well.
A credit card deposit amount of the first night’s stay is required to reserve the cabin rental. This is refundable up to a week before arrival, less a $25.00 cancellation fee. The balance will be refunded by credit to your bank card. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable; the first night’s stay is forfeited.
We appreciate your efforts to conserve resources and to preserve our furnishings and surroundings. Please understand that a charge can occur for any damages that require replacement or repair (including linens, fabrics or furnishings, outdoor furnishings, etc.).
