Renovated 1980s off the grid solar powered modified log cabin, set on a private forest road, sprawling two acres of deeply wooded Flattops Wilderness forests. The cabin features two full bedrooms, one bath as well as a very comfortable, cozy, open floor plan. Outside features include a fire pit, large steel drum bbq grill, an extra long picnic table and screened in gazebo as well as access to numerous hiking trails and epic mountain vistas that will surely take your breath away.
The cabin is centrally located in the Flattops Wilderness with an abundance of things to do. Grab your camera and go find a herd of local elk in the area, as there are plenty to be seen. Moose, deer and bear also frequent the area.
Miles of hiking trails leading to backcountry lakes are also accessible. Book one of our horseback rides or fly fishing trips on the White River to fully complete your Colorado experience!
Is there cell phone reception? Internet? Wi-fi?
No, we do not have cell coverage but there is Wifi available at the Lodge, Saloon and a few of the cabins.
Who does the cleaning of the cabins upon departure?
We’ll do the cleaning. We just ask that you tidy up and leave the cabin as it was when you arrived. We do a full clean of the cabin in between guests.
Are the cabins pet friendly?
No, we do not allow pets inside of our cabins or main lodge
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes. The water is safe to drink if you wish. We do recommend you bring bottled water as well.
A credit card deposit amount of the first night’s stay is required to reserve the cabin rental. This is refundable up to a week before arrival, less a $25.00 cancellation fee. The balance will be refunded by credit to your bank card. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable; the first night’s stay is forfeited.
