Big Game Hunting
Ripple Creek Lodge offers quality big game hunts into White River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness Area of northwest Colorado's game management unit (GMU) 24. At Ripple Creek Lodge we offer two tremendous hunting opportunities for hunters looking to experience the best of Colorado's backcountry.
Ripple Creek Lodge has a strict maximum weight limit of 250lbs on our horses for hunters wanting a guided or drop camp hunt.
2023 Guide Hunts
$4950 per person
Guided hunts are based from the Lodge and include; Accommodations, meals, guides and game packing. During your guided hunt you will stay in one of our historic cabins and travel on horseback each day into the Flat Tops Wilderness to access primitive hunting areas. At the end of the day you'll return to the comfort of your cabin and dine on western cuisine in the Lodge's dining room.
Drop Camp Hunts
$2250 per person
Drop camp hunts include; The camp, your pack in and out on horseback and game packing. The camps are set prior to your arrival and placed in prime Elk habitat, they contain all the supplies you'll need for a stay in the Colorado wilderness. Hunters wanting to hunt in this unique backcountry setting will hunt on their own, on foot and be able to take advantage of prime wilderness hunting.
At Ripple Creek Lodge we want to make your hunt the experience of a lifetime. To enhance your experience we offer free airport pick up and drop off, free game delivery to our local processor and on site European mounting for your trophy.

2023 Private Land Guide Archery Hunts
$6450 per person
Our Private Land Guided Archery hunts are based from the Villa Ranch in GMU 11 and include; Accommodations, meals, guides and game packing. During your guided hunt you will stay in the Villa Ranch house which can accomodate up to six hunters. From there you will travel either on horseback, by 4x4 truck or on foot each day into the over 2500 acre private ranch. The Ranch has great grass meadows and water holes to hold elk and also land locks an additional 13,000 acres of public land. GMU 11 is an over the counter unit for the archery season, so obtaining a license to hunt this prisitne property is a non issue.

- *1st Rifle October 14-18
- 2nd Rifle October 28- November 3
- 3rd Rifle November 11-17
*Muzzleloader and 1st rifle season require a limited license.
Refund Policy
100% of the deposit is refunded is the hunt is canceled prior to the 1st Tuesday in April.
50% of the deposit is refunded if the hunt is canceled between the 1st Tuesday in April and 90 days prior to the start of the hunt.
There will not be a refund issued if your hunt is canceled less than 90 days prior to the start of the hunt.
You may also apply your deposit to a later season at anytime for 100% credit
All refunds are issued on July 1st
