The Flat Tops Wilderness of the White River National Forest

Well, this is where it all happens! With mountains rising above 12,000’, covered with evergreens, aspen and lush open parks, the White River National Forest Area is considered as the most beautiful as well as the best of all hunting. We have twice as many elk as any other area in Colorado, and Colorado has more elk than any other state or country in the world.

The White River National Forest is one of the largest national forests in America with hundreds of miles of trails for horseback riding, hiking, fishing and hunting. Some trails are open to four-wheel vehicles. We truly have it all!
